Septembra LeSane is a native of Pompano Beach, FL. Ms. LeSane graduated cum laude from Florida A&M University, with a Bachelor’s in Political Science in 2013. She later went on to earn a master’s degree in Entertainment Business and Sports Management from Full Sail University. In 2019, Ms. LeSane earned her Juris Doctor degree from Howard University School of Law in Washington, DC. During her law school matriculation, Ms. LeSane worked as a student attorney in Howard University’s IP & Trademark Clinic and interned with both National Public Radio (NPR) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She also served as the Program Director for Howard University’s Sports and Entertainment Law Student Association.

Ms. LeSane was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 2021. Upon admittance, she began her career as an Entertainment Lawyer advises athletes, recording artists, producers, and film writers on a wide variety of entertainment related matters. Ms. LeSane’s practice consists of drafting and negotiating agreements, protecting clients’ intellectual property by advising clients on the viability of their proposed trademarks, filing trademark applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and filing copyright applications with the U.S. Copyright Office.

Ms. LeSane also has a passion for environmental law, with a special emphasis on toxic tort litigation and class actions.
